Saturday night the diggers came to town. I think the boys were pretty nervous because they are supposed to be one of the favorites for 3A. We are just a little 2A school. It was an amazing game to watch. The first cool thing ~ their coach took the microphone at the beginning of the game and told of how as a basketball community they shared in the loss of our coaches sweet wife. They kids at their school had rounded up $200.00 that they donated to the school to start a scholarship to honor Angie ~ awesome right! Standing ovation for them and then the games began. It started looking like we might really have a rough time and then the boys kicked it in gear. It was a battle all night long. Here is the start of Seth's 3 point shots:

Seth got a 3 and sunk his 2 foul shots in overtime & maybe another layup ~ not sure it is all running together already ~ but guess who fouled out? He was fantastic and got a standing ovation as he walked off the court!!!

Seth just had an unbelievable game ~ 17 points ~ yea, I said 17!! He was the top scorer for our team. The fun part is that 4 out of the 5 starters were in double digits. It is really fun to go and watch a TEAM play. If they keep this up, we may just be making a trip to Boise in March!

A night of Firsts

Check out the score above ~ we almost shut them out the whole first quarter, but the got a shot in the bucket those last few seconds.
