The branding is done for one more year. It was a good day - no major problems, good weather, and overall I think the kids had a good time. Here are a few photos:
Mara - giving a little love to a heifer
Jim - couldn't do as much as normal because of his shoulder surgery
Shelby - a little more timid around the calves than my older kids
Megan - took over the job of pushing calves with her cousin Raleigh
Seth - had some new experiences this year, he learned how to apply elastrators, and spent most of his time running the calf table - he is becoming quite a good hand

Sounds like the PW. Have you ever read her blog by the way? pioneerwoman.com Her photography alone is phenomenal. That's worth the daily visit (and YOU could appreciate it even more)
One of these days I'm going to update MY blog. I need to transfer more than a hundred pictures off my camera to add to the blog, but no time lately. :) Have a great one! Carol
