Seth's basketball season officially started last night at Marsh Valley. Not the win they hoped to start with, but it was easy to see the potential. Seth played a decent game, but couldn't get any shots to go in the first half. He did get a 3 pointer and drove one in to the basket - all in the fourth quarter for 5 points. One of our starters has run into some trouble and will not be playing for a few weeks, but that meant a little more playing time for some of the other boys including Seth. I think if this team works hard and plays as a team, they have the ability to be one of the top in the state. It was kind of a kick to read the Idaho State Journal this morning and see "Stoor 2, 0-0,2" in the stats(even though they got it wrong)! It may be a shaky start to the season, but watch out!

Oh how I love this kid and following him all over for games! It was one of those crazy nights - Megan had to cheer at the TMS game, Shelby had a little league game ( by the way they lost 12 - 8, but she made 6 of the 8 points for her team), and Jim had a school board meeting. I can't be 3 places at once ~ Thank heaven for Grandma Petersen and her help! Mara surprised me and showed up to help me cheer for Seth. YAY!! Friday night - anyone want to join me for a trip to Bear Lake??? :)
